Kindergarten to Grade 12 Education Support Services

Success in Elementary and High School supports the development of healthy self-esteem and opens the door to a lifetime of learning, education, and career opportunities.

As part of our Pathways approach, we work closely with schools, parents and communities to include holistic and culturally relevant teachings in schools and provide day-to-day support for Nuu-chah-nulth students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Nuu-chah-nulth Education Workers

Nuu-chah-nulth Education Workers are located in all School District 70 and School District 84 schools. These workers model Nuu-chah-nulth ways and provide daily support to students. They are also key contacts for parents and school staff.

Education Enhancement Agreements

Currently, agreements are in place with School District 70 (Port Alberni), School District 84 (Vancouver Island West), and School District 72 (Campbell River).

Graduation and Scholarships

The NTC celebrates the success of students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 by awarding scholarships and holding an annual Nuu-chah-nulth graduation ceremony.
