Office Closure Accounting

Friday, March 20, 2020 - 16:30

Dear Vendors and Service Providers,

Due to the exceptional circumstances experienced with the Covid-19 containment policies and guidelines requested by Canada and BC, together with the direction of NTC’s Board and Executive to protect the health and safety of our staff, the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council (NTC) is closing our offices for the next 2 weeks.

It is important to the NTC to support our vendors and service providers, staff and elders by continuing to pay invoices and process reimbursements as best as possible in this time.

NTC’s Finance Department has put measures in place for payment of invoices and reimbursements using remote access technology.  This means that invoice payments can only be made electronically.

For you who are not set up for direct deposit already, please complete the NTC Direct Deposit form and submit to Accounts.Payable@nuuchahnulth.org.

Please submit all your invoices electronically to Accounts.Payable@nuuchahnulth.org.

There will be no mail pick-up in the event of an office closure and no process in place to handle paper.

To emphasize, without your completion and emailing in of the NTC Direct Deposit Form and emailing of your invoices to the above email address, no payment can be made to you until the NTC offices open again.

Thank you all for working together with the NTC in these uncertain and unfamiliar times.

Sincerely,
