The Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council extends its deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the families and communities of the Tsawwassen elders whose lives were taken as a result of a tragic motor vehicle incident. This tragedy happened at Tsawwassen Mills where people were gathering to start their Truth and Reconciliation walk.
We send love, good energy and prayers for all to deal with this horrific incident.
We also send healing prayers for a quick recovery of the other two people who were injured in this incident.
President Judith Sayers states “We anxiously await with others the official statements and the findings of the RCMP as to what really happened.”
Vice President Les Doiron added “Words are so inadequate to convey what we are truly feeling but we stand in support of the Tsawwassen Nation and people during these very sad days.”
