This award-winning program offers hands-on group based training and support for young adults aged 15 to 30 facing barriers and challenges to employment. It provides young people with tools, certificates, supports and opportunities to reach their full potential in the work force. The program is open to Aboriginal and non-aboriginal participants.
Program training topics vary to best match local employment opportunities. Past training has focused on Construction, Customer Service, Basic Security Training, Traffic Control, Early Childcare Educator Assistant Certificate, and Adventure Tourism industries. Participants receive:
- Employment readiness training
- Industry-recognized training certificates
- Employment placements and job search support
- Job start clothing and safety equipment support
- Job coaching
- Job maintenance support
Employer benefits:

Eligible Participants:
- Are 15 to 30 years of age (inclusive) at time of intake
- Are unemployed or precariously employed
- Are generally not employment ready
- Are not attending school
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number
- Experience barriers to employment
